There is a quiet defiance in those words. They refuse the comfortable idea that our lives simply happen to us, and insist instead that the shape of things to come is ours to decide.
It is a fitting thought for readers of View - people who have, more often than not, achieved rather than waited. Whatever this season holds, the invitation is the same: choose the destiny you want, and then go and build it.
